Program Goals

The landscape of health care delivery is changing rapidly on a national stage. Understanding how delivery system reform and health services research impact the delivery of urological care is essential to advancing the field. Through an innovative, comprehensive, and stimulating agenda, the Ann Arbor Health Services Research Symposium will provide urologists, other providers, and researchers with the most effective ways to organize, research, manage, finance, and deliver high quality care within urology and beyond.

Participants will gain valuable insight into the current status and impact of urological health services research as well as the opportunities and challenges from experts in and outside of the field. Attendees will better understand and be able to implement recent advances in scientific methods for conducting health services research, translating research into practice, and anticipating the next frontiers of urological health services research.
